#SBHACK2019 May 27, 2019 12:00:00 AM

As registration for #SBHACK19 draws to a close, we’re preparing many exciting things for our hackers and the public. If you haven’t yet registered, do so here. You’ve only got a few days left!

Before the hackathon, on 20 June 2019, everyone will have the chance to participate in multiple public training sessions and talks. Below, we’ll list the training sessions, and speeches in detail so that you can see which sessions will be the best fit for you.

Training: Injecting Operations using Python

Hosted by: Tezos

Attendees will interact with Tezos nodes via RPC. This RPC interface offers low-level access to the node and will allow you to inject operations and query the chain. However, creating a transaction is not as easy as calling an RPC with a payload.

This training module will explain how to forge a new operation, sign it, and inject it in a Tezos node. Python will be used as the programming language.
